Our History

Founded by Garth Botha in 1990, Action Cycles is one of Gqeberha’s oldest and most respected bicycle shops. For over 30 years, we’ve supplied the city with trusted bicycle brands and unmatched technical advice, growing into the region’s most comprehensive cycling store by understanding and meeting the evolving needs of our customers.

In 2019, just before our 30th anniversary, we gave Action Cycles a modern makeover. Redesigned from the ground up, our shop now features a spacious floor, upgraded workshop, and inviting shop front, combining style with functionality as we continue into the next decade of cycling excellence.
